Lasko – Die Faust Gottes is a German action television series, an RTL co-production with ORF. First aired on 18 June 2009, it is set in a monastery and involves martial arts. Fifteen 45 minute episodes have been produced as of October 2011 in two series. The series was shot in the Naumburg an der Saale area, Pforta, Schloss Neuenburg and Königstein Fortress.

A monk, dedicated equally to the discipline of the monastery and to the ancient secrets of martial arts, becomes a staunch defender of the poor. Wherever there is injustice or abuse of power, Lasko makes use equally of wisdom and kicks to help the weakest.

A top-level meeting of the Eastern secret services is taking place in Prague. Martin, an agent who knows all the tricks of the trade, is tasked with obtaining the minutes of the conference for the West German intelligence service. And he does so via Zimra, his former lover. She is now the right-hand woman of the GDR intelligence chief. A life-threatening assignment, but Martin accepts it. His condition: Zimra is to be taken to the West.
